Summary and Photos to be published on the website.

Old Business

Secretary's report and Treasurer's report were accepted.

Ship Model Shack

Joe Jordan identified open dates in March and noted those who had already volunteered.

Northeast Regional Conference

Pat Leaf repeated an urgent appeal for members to assist in this year's Northeast. Conference in that we need to ensure there is backup and continuity should current committee members not be able to serve in four years. For similar reasons of providing back-up, Joe Jordan was added as an additional authorized signer for our banking services.

Web site and future plans for newsletters

Although the web site had gone live, and that items previously published in the newsletter would be published on the web site, some individuals were unable to access the site, resulting in significant frustration and confusion. Until the website is stable, and access issues are resolved, all content will be uploaded as “public” so members will not be required to to sign on to view content. Moreover, until users are consistently able to access the new web site, important content will also be delivered via email. To smooth the registration process, Brian Padnes, web site administrator, will register users and provide an initial password.

New Business

Participation in the March 20 Miniature Show

A team from PSMS will attend this show and display smaller scale ship models. Past participation indicates that many attendees appreciated ship models as an alternative, and the display received significant attention.

Parking for PSMS Monthly Meetings

Subsidies for parking present a potential to significantly impact our financial position. Joe Jordan and Spencer Anderson discussed with Mike Flynn, VP at the ISM. (A memo describing a process to use the volunteer parking passes has been distributed and was implemented for the March 3 meeting.)

Holiday Brunch

It was agreed that we should reserve Sunday, December 18 for our annual holiday event. The Steam Ship Club will also be invited to attend.

The next meeting of the PSMS will be held on April 7, 2016.

Respectfully submitted,

Spencer Anderson
